Death shrine as it currently stands is a good addition to the game but could use some adjustments. When playing on yves death shrine has almost no risk in using so when you see it you’ll always take it. Normally this isn’t an issue because it normally doesn’t save too much time for it to be considered broken. However when you get death shrine in the darkworld things are different, because death shrine saves much much more time here because it works against ganon. I’m at the point of saying that getting a fast run will eventually require death shrine in darkworld. It makes runs require so much luck at the very end of the game to save around 20-30 seconds on the ganon fight. You shouldn’t be punished for not finding such an overpowered item at the end of your run.
